A second man has denied murder after a 39-year-old man was stabbed to death in Worcester.

Adrian Locke, of Wych Road, Droitwich, died of stab wounds after being found outside a property in Teme Road, Tolladine, Worcester, on Wednesday, January 2.

Rikko Marks, aged 20, of no fixed address, appeared at Worcester Crown Court today to apply for the murder charge to be dismissed, but after hearing the application Judge Robert Juckes QC decided he should face a jury.

He was remanded in custody until the trial, which will begin on Tuesday (July 9).

He will appear alongside Micah Golding, 21, of Crossfarm Road, Harborne, Birmingham, who pleaded not guilty to the attack at an earlier hearing in April.

He admitted to a separate charge of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs between December 1 last year and January 3.

At the previous hearing, Marks denied the same drugs charge admitted by Golding. He also pleaded not guilty to two charges of possessing a .22 calibre revolver on May 25, 2011, and of possessing .22 cartridges designed to expand on impact.
