SCOUTS showed honour in their work as they tackled weeds, spring cleaned and laid paving slabs to help spruce up a church hall.
The troop from 16th Worcester, helped by their parents and friends, spent two evenings clearing the outside of St Martin’s Youth Centre in London Road, Worcester.
As part of this year’s Scout Community Challenge, they also cleared the play area for the London Road Playgroup.
Hazel Tyrrell, group Scout leader, said: “Thank you to everyone who worked so hard and made a difference in only a few hours.
“The young people really got stuck in and when it was time to go home we were surprised with what they had achieved.”
