ANOTHER successful year of art will be celebrated in an annual exhibition at South Worcestershire College’s Malvern School of Art.

The Malvern campus on Albert Road North will stage the event from Saturday until Wednesday, July 10, and the college will be open to members of the public, prospective students, friends and family of current students, galleries and buyers.

It will feature the work of more than 700 local students. Head of the school Caroline Park said: “This exhibition is a highlight of the Malvern School of Art’s year and completely takes over the Malvern campus.

“The areas exhibited include Access to Art and BTEC art courses, City and Guilds and alumni textiles, sculpture, ceramics, life drawing, bookbinding, stained glass, jewellery, watercolour, oils, acrylics, portraits, figure painting, botanical illustration and much more.”

She added: “If anyone is considering taking up a new course or hobby in September, visiting the exhibition would be a great introduction to the wide range of courses on offer at the college.”

Entry is free and the exhibition runs from 10am to 3pm each day except Sunday. For information, go to sworcs. ac.uk or call 01684 565351.
