COMPUTERS were swapped for chalkboards and the cane when a school celebrated its 150th anniversary.
Broadwas CE Primary School opened in 1863 to provide education for children from the village.
To mark the occasion, pupils and staff dressed in Victorian costume and recreated life for school children during the 1860s.
Parents and members of the community were also invited to join in with the celebrations. Pictured are headteacher Mark Allen with Daniel Pycock and fellow pupils suitably dressed in Victorian attire. Picture by John Anyon. 1813305001
