CREATIVE pupils showed they had both an eye for detail and healthy eating.
Youngsters at Grimley and Holt CE Primary School designed and made their own friendly fruit and veg faces part of National Healthy Eating Week.
Pupils used melons, pineapples, parsnips and cauliflowers to make their culinary characters with the help of parents.
Teachers also talked with the children about eating a balanced diet and having five portions of fruit and vegetables a day, played fruit and veg bingo, made a collage of a balanced meal, discussed what makes up a healthy lunchbox and had a fruit feast.
