A PRIMARY school marked its official opening as an academy by holding an open afternoon for pupils and parents. Warndon Primary School in Worcester will now be known as the Oasis Academy Warndon having been taken over by a London-based charitable organisation. Interim principal David Coaché said the move was great news. “It’s really good for the school, which I think has a very positive future,” he said. Pictured with Mr Coaché during the open afternoon are, from the left, parent Stacey Martin and her children Kiera Powell, aged two, and six-year-old Kaiden Powell. 4013420401.
