THE Abbey Hotel in Malvern remains open this morning despite being affected by a burst water mains.
The hotel said a burst water mains, which left water pouring down Abbey Road, was not likely to cause them to close although they had been “slightly affected”.
The water has now been stopped leaving 18 properties now off line until the problem is sorted.
A Severn Trent Spokesman said: “We have a team working to fix the problem. We will get that damage rectified and we apologise to any inconvenience or harm caused.”
