A MOPED rider has been taken to hospital with non-serious injuries after a collision with a car near Powick roundabout.
Police were called to the scene near Cromwells Indian Restaurant at about 8.30am involving a red Mazda 323 and a moped driven by a man thought to be in his late teens.
The Ambulance service also attended and treated the rider for wrist and shoulder injuries before taking him to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further treatment.
There were no reports of injuries to the car driver.
The road was blocked while police and paramedics dealt with the incident but was reopened at 8.55am.
