HARD-WORKING staff at Worcestershire Royal Hospital have been applauded for their commitment.
The endoscopy department at the hospital were awarded a Big Thank You in recognition of their work through challenges including building work, bed pressures and floods.
Presenting the team with a cake and certificate, Worcestershire Acute NHS Trust chief executive Penny Venables said: “You have faced many challenges over the past few weeks and have worked together as a team to overcome them.
“We are very grateful for all your hard work and commitment.”
The Big Thank You is an internal NHS scheme recognising staff who have gone above and beyond the call of duty.
Department manager Sally Sykes said: "The team have been very flexible and worked extremely hard to give the best possible care.
“They are more than worthy of a big thank you.”
