WORCESTER Cathedral features in a new book penned by a former soldier.
The tomb of King John at the place of worship is mentioned in England's Cathedrals by Train, by Major-General Murray Naylor.
The book tells the story of how railway transformed the way in which both goods and passengers could be transported around the country.
The author features 33 cathedrals as well as the railway systems which have allowed them to be reached.
