A WORCESTERSHIRE man has appeared in court charged with committing sexual assaults on teenage girls.
David John Crowther, aged 55, of West Road, Bromsgrove, appeared before Redditch magistrates on Tuesday accused of four sexual assaults on two 14-year-old girls at Bromsgrove between 1 June and 30 September 2012.
He was arrested in November 2012 and following an investigation by North Worcestershire’s Child Protection Unit he was charged last month.
The case was adjourned until Tuesday, March 11, when Crowther will appear before the same court. He was released on court bail with a condition that he should not have contact with anyone under the age of 17 without the supervision of someone authorised by Children’s Services.
