PONIES, painted faces and a spot of putting on a mini golf course put a smile on families' faces at a preschool fete.
Sticky Fingers Preschool's summer fete on the grounds of St Stephen's Church, Droitwich Road, proved a success raising over £1,600 which will go towards a new computer station for the children.
High winds could not ruin the high spirits as children enjoyed pony rides, bouncy castles, hook-a-duck and crazy golf as well as cakes, a barbecue and stalls.
Playgroup leader Claire Thomas said: "The summer fayre was a huge success this year.
"The weather was unpredictable but we still had the support from all including old and new faces from Sticky Fingers.
"Children spent the day playing crazy golf, bouncing on the bouncy castle and using the ride-on play area to have fun.
"This was the first year we have had ponies and they proved a big hit - the queue was never ending.
"Lots of people commented on what a fun day it had been."
