THEY say a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush but one Worcester News reader has taken that old adage literally.
Mark Badgery sent in these stunning photographs of a little robin feeding off his hand.
Mr Badgery was sat in the garden of his grandparents' home in Hallow when the bird made a beeline for the maggots on offer.
He said: "My grandad Ken Freeman feeds a pair of robbins and blackbirds several times a day.
"The birds take the food back to their young in the nest."
