AN unexpected twist is promised to fans of a Worcestershire high school-based online sitcom during its finale tonight (Thursday).

Comedy series Oakland High, filmed at Droitwich Spa High School, will premiere its fifth and final instalment online from 7pm.

Tonight's episode will be accompanied by a live show featuring cast members who will be interviewed about the show on set.

In the final episode, fans will finally learn the identity of the school's killer - a secret that has been kept underwraps from even the cast and crew.

Edward Atherton, the show's teenage writer, said: "I think the audience are going to have a big shock when an unpredictable twist in the story occurs."

The live spectacle will feature an interview and performance from this year's Britain’s Got Talent semi finalists SweetChix.

Director Jordan Kettle, aged 16, said: "They’re big fans of the show and were really keen to do an interview and perform.

"It was really good of them to get involved."

After the episode has aired, the show will shortly appear on YouTube where the full series will be available for viewing.
