THE "essential Englishness" of Worcester's most famous son will be explored through performance in Pershore Abbey, during the Three Choirs' Festival.
The Aronowitz Ensemble will make the abbey echo on Wednesday, July 30, from 2.30am.
The ensemble will perform the Elgar Piano Quintet in A minor Op. 84, and then contrast it with the
Korngold Piano Quintet in E Op. 15.
Korngold is a composer best known for film music.
