DANCING Morris Men and women created an air of magic in Worcestershire this weekend as they visited for the weekend.
The Fox's Morris Men, from Cookley, near Kidderminster, were welcomed to the Fleece Inn, Bretforton on Friday night before dancing their way around Worcester city centre on Saturday.
The visit is part of the annual event in Worcestershire and brings colourful dancing to the city streets.
While in Worcester they entertained at the Quayside, the Cathedral, and Greyfriars in Friar Street.
They performed traditional and new Morris dances including Wicket Brood, Bunnies from Hell, Exmoor, Mill Town Cloggies, Styx, Loose Women, Rhubarb Tarts and Powderkegs.
On Sunday they returned to the Fleece Inn on Sunday to end the weekend at the popular pub.
Landlord Nigel Smith said he thoroughly enjoyed the entire weekend.
"It was fantastic as always," he said. "We have hosted them now for ten years or so. Certainly Friday night was really atmospheric and the weather was lovely. We had music and dancing outside and an impromptu Ceilidh dance into the moonlight.
"The Pebworth Morris and Belle d'Vain danced early in the evening as the visitors arrived. It was one of the most memorable of the weekends.
"It just cam together so well, it's a great mix of people and it just seems to gel and there was a magic about it."
