CHILDREN got out and about in the sunshine last week and learned about pond-dwelling beasts at a farm near Worcester.
The Pond Dippers event arranged by Worcestershire Wildlife Trust was held at its headquarters at Lower Smite Farm on Thursday, July 31 and saw 30 children find out about creatures living under the water.
The organisation's communications manager Wendy Carter said the fully-booked event had been extremely successful.
"They had great fun and spent ages dipping the ponds," he said.
The charity is running a number of activities throughout the school summer holidays. For more information visit www.worcswildlifetrust.co.uk.
