A MAN sexually assaulted a women before exposing himself in Worcester.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a 22-year-old women was sexually assualted while walking on Bath Road, near to the Commandery, at about 2am on Saturday, August 9.
The suspect engaged her using sexually inappropriate language, then assaulted her before exposing himself. He then ran away in the direction of Worcester City Centre.
The male suspect is described aged 45 to 55 years old, of slim build, approximately 5’9" tall with very short grey hair. He was dressed in blue demin jeans and a buttoned blue/grey shirt and spoke with a local accent.
PC Howard Fletcher, the investigation officer, said: "This is an extremely serious incident which has left the victim highly shaken and as such we are very keen to gain information which may aid us in finding the suspect."
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the assault or has any information regarding it to come forward by calling 101, quoting incident number 090 of 9th August. Information can also be passed anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 or at crimestoppers-uk.org.
