A MAN has been taken to hospital with shoulder injuries, after he fell from a road maintenance vehicle.
An ambulance crew and air ambulance were deployed to the scene in Fetterlocks Lane, Martley, and the man in his 50s was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
A spokesman from West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "One ambulance crew, a community paramedic and an air ambulance attended the scene around 9.30am, after a man in his 50s fell from a maintenance vehicle.
"He was given pain relief and transported by a scoot stretcher. The air ambulance, deployed by Midlands Air Ambulance, did not air lift him in the end, but helped with treatment. He was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital with shoulder injuries.
"It is still unclear exactly how it happened."
