AFTER a dramatic vote off on Sunday night, the X Factor hopeful coming to Worcester has been announced.

Overload Generation will perform at Sin on New Street on Monday, October 20 before taking part in a VIP meet and greet at Bushwackers on Trinity Street afterwards.

The band, made up of Ollie, Jordi, Ryan, Joey and Andy, were voted off the show alongside Blonde Electra in a double elimination.

Overload Generation will now perform to crowds in Worcester, and Bushwackers owner Darren Pinches said he is looking forward to hosting the boys.

"It should be a really good night and I know I'm not the only one really looking forward to it," he said.

"The reaction we've had on our social media sites has been immense — there doesn't seem to be anyone people don't want to see on the show this year," he said.

"As the performers are voted off the show on Sunday they will then come to Worcester a week later for a performance at Sin. After that people will be able to meet and party with them and have photographs taken with them in Bushwackers. They should be great nights.

"This year's performers are all very good and there's no one that people really don't like as far as I can tell, and they're all very glamorous. This year we really wanted to be involved with the show seeing as Simon and Cheryl are back in on it too. It should be a lot of fun."

People can pay £3 entry in to Sin to see the performance, which then gives free entrance in to Bushwackers afterwards.

Each week the Worcester News will be giving readers the chance to see the artists perform at Sin, followed by a chance to meet them afterwards.
