THE Worcester Got 2 Sing choir will bring their Winter Wonderland Christmas concert to St Mary’s Church, Kempsey, on Saturday November 29.
Local residents are invited to join in the festivities by coming along to hear the choir, taking part in a raffle and find out more about the Stroke Association’s Christmas events. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the charity.
Sophie James, the Stroke Association's fundraising manager, said: "We’re delighted that Got 2 Sing have decided to support the Stroke Association with their Winter Wonderland concerts. There are around 152,000 strokes a year in the UK – that’s one every three and a half minutes. As a charity, we rely on communities and organisations to help us raise funds to help us conquer stroke."
Beth Dunn, Got 2 Sing’s'founder and director, said: "I’m thrilled that we’re supporting the Stroke Association at our Christmas concerts. It’s a fantastic charity and we’re looking forward to welcoming them at our concerts. Join us for what promises to be some fantastic events, whilst raising much-needed funds for the Stroke Association.’
Tickets cost £7.50 for adults and £4.50 for under 16s, and are available from choir members, or on 03330 146164.
