PEOPLE in Tolladine, Warndon and Brickfields are being urged to sign up for a course that can be “life-changing”.

The lifestyle group, which has been set up by Worcester Community Trust’s community connectors, will include health and well-being tips, employment and training advice and fun activities such as yoga.

Sessions will take place at the Tolly Centre on Tuesdays from 1pm to 2.30pm for six weeks, starting on Tuesday, January 20.

Helen Hodgson, a community connector who has helped organise the scheme, said: “The lifestyle groups have been really successful in the past.

“Participants have made some really good friends, built up their confidence and even gone on to volunteering opportunities or training.

“It is a broad programme designed to cover the whole lifestyle – attending can definitely be a life-changing experience.”

She added that sessions are informal and friendly and that anyone with a WR4 postcode can attend for free.

Previous participants have included people hoping to access volunteering or training opportunities, those managing stress and anxiety and individuals who are isolated or have low self-esteem.

To sign up to the course visit or call the community connectors team on 01905 459008.
