NOT only are students from Dines Green Community Primary School appearing in newspapers, they have been creating their own news reports too.
Using the school's Green Screen Technology, year six pupils have been coming up with thought provoking videos during English lessons and will be creating a news programme based on the school's newsletter.
Sara Longmire, headteacher of the school, said: "We have been extending the ways in which they challenge the children in English by encouraging them to write and present to different audiences.
"This will have them developing their writing skills by creating interesting news reports, reading by following the auto cue and ensuring they speak clearly and with confidence whilst they present the report.
"It's a great way for them to work together and the children love the end results."
The budding journalists will also have to edit their videos using computers.
