A SPEEDY student from a Worcester private school represented the county in an athletics event earlier this month.
Rebecca Donnely, a Year 10 student from St Mary's Convent School, Battenhall, represented Hereford and Worcester County Athletics Team at the Midlands finals on Saturday, February 17, at Perdiswell Sports Centre.
Fourteen-year-old Rebecca competed in a two-lap race, an eight-lap Paarlauf - an unusual form of running that is similar to a relay, with runners taking a rest before running again - and field events of shot putt and vertical jump.
She was placed 12th in the Midlands and first in Hereford and Worcester.
