MORE than 100 exhibitors are preparing to dazzle visitors to the biggest wedding fair in Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire.

Whether you are a bride, groom or friend or relation of the happy couple, the Worcester News Three Counties Bridal Show will be able to provide you with inspiration and ideas to make the big day an extra special one.

The event will be held on Sunday, March 11, at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern.

Exhibitors will offer everything from bridal gowns and bridesmaids' dresses to invitations, favours and flowers, and have advice on everything you could need to know.

Two fashion shows will also see models strutting their stuff in the hottest bridal fashions. Brides-to-be will even have the chance to win the gown of their dreams worth up to an amazing £1,000 courtesy of A-Z Wedding Services of Stourport-on-Severn.

They simply have to register their details at the bridal show to be in with a chance to win.

The event follows the success of the twice-yearly Worcester News Wedding Fair, which is held at the Fownes Hotel in City Walls Road, Worcester, and last October's first Worcester News Three Counties Bridal Show in Malvern.

Sara Matthews, Worcester News events manager, said: "The event at the Fownes has become so successful we found we were having to turn away potential exhibitors so the idea for the Three Counties show was born.

"The first event in October 2006 was a runaway success and proved to be the biggest and best bridal show in the three counties."

Mrs Matthews said most of the exhibitors will be from Worcestershire, He refordshire and Gloucestershire, with a limited number from the rest of the Midlands region.

She added: "We want to make sure it is a local event and that every exhibitor at the show is a commutable drive away for our visitors."

The event is in the showground's Severn Hall - accessible through the yellow gate - from 11am to 3.30pm. Entry and parking are free.
