A COUNCIL is cracking down on people who do not pay their council tax with tough new measures.
Wychavon District Council currently issues non-payers with two reminders.
From April, 2007 just one reminder will be sent, prior to a final notice and then a summons.
The new approach aims to reduce the recovery period by one month.
