A POLICE helicopter has been scrambled to help the search for a missing pensioner.
The 82-year-old man from Upton who is missing was described as 6ft tall, of medium build, with grey hair.
He was last seen wearing glasses, a brown Tweed jacket and brown trousers.
Officers said the man was called Ernest, but goes by the name of Michael. They did not provide a surname.
However, as the pensioner has dementia, he will be confused if spoken to.
Anyone with any information should call 101, quoting incident number 240S of April 17.
