THERE was a buzz of excitement in the air as budding actors and actresses took part in the Pauline Quirke Academy in Worcester.
Over 100 children took part in a sample session of the Pauline Quirke Academy at The King's School, Worcester.
The youngsters were split into age groups and tried their hands at comedy and drama, musical theatre and film and television, while the parents had the opportunity to take a peek at their children in action during classes.
Ali Chambers, principal of PQA Worcester said: “I am delighted to provide young people with such a fantastic performing arts experience, students will learn valuable skills for everyday life and not just the performing arts.
"I am so excited to see what the future brings and want to thank everyone for their support.”
PQA Worcester runs every Saturday from 9.45am to 1pm at The King's School, Worcester.
