West Midlands Safari Park announces the birth of ANOTHER TWO WHITE LION CUBS, to join the ONLY PRIDE for rare White Lions in the UK.

The two female cubs were born on 18th January 2007 to four-year old mum, Natasha and their father Mubuto, also four-years. Nicknamed Zara and Tara, the cubs have remained very close to their first time mum since birth. Specialist Keepers have bee on duty, along with 24 hour CCTV coverage, since the cubs were born and both cubs have bonded well with their mother, rarely leaving her side.West Midlansd Safari Park announced first white lion cubs born in UK only in February to mum Maryn and the arrival of a further two cubs to a different mum, is a magnificent achievement for the Park in Bewdley, Worcestershire, that now has TEN White Lions in their collection.

The only pride of rare White Lions in the UK can be seen daily in the Kingdom of the White Lions that forms part of the four mile, all-weather safari.

FACTS ABOUT WHITE LIONSWhite lions are not albino. They are a rare species of lion only to be round in a 200 square mile area called Timbavati, in the Lowveld of Northern Province - South Africa's bush country. With no more than 130 left in the world today, for centuries the myth of the White Lion has been etched in African folklore. Legend has it, that once every hundred years, magical White Lions will be born bringing joy to all that witness them.
