A NURSERY in Kempsey has received the highest possible rating from Ofsted.
Painters Cottage Day Nursery in Post Office Lane has been graded "outstanding" by the regulator, following a visit in May.
Inspectors praised the centre for helping children become "confident, eager, expressive and resourceful learners who make outstanding progress".
Staff are "patient, kind and attentive" and provide "enthusiastic teaching and many rich and rewarding activities", according to the watchdog's report.
