THE troublesome Tracy Beaker is set to appear on stage.

Created by popular children's author Jacqueline Wilson, Tracy Beaker is a naughty 10-year-old girl who lives in care.

Previously adapted for radio and television, it is now being brought to life on stage and from Tuesday, May 1, it arrives at the Malvern Theatres.

The two-act play tells the story of Tracy's return to Stowey House Care Home, nicknamed by the residents as the Dumping Ground. With songs and music, the show promises to be fun and enjoyable for both children and adults.

The volatile Tracy will be played by Pippa Duffy.
