It's back! And this time it's bigger and better than ever! Yes, it's the return of the popular Droitwich Music Festival. Now the Droitwich Music and Drama Festival starting on Sunday , July 1 and running through 15 music and arts packed days until Sunday , July 15, 2007, throughout historic Droitwich Spa.

This year, we have extended the festival to include classical and traditional music events, live drama and cCommunity events as well as the proven formula of jazz, blues, folk, rock and dancing events.

One of the acts in attendance this year will be internationally renowned classical guitarist, pianist and composer, Hayley Savage, due to be appearing at the Sacred Heart Church Hall on Wednesday July 4, at 7.30pm. Since graduating from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Hayley has established a dual career in performance and composition, which has taken her to Europe, Scandinavia, Africa, America and Canada.

With the Norbury's production of Little Shop of Horrors (5th - 7th and 11th - 14th July), the Rotary Club's Party in the Park event (15th July) , the Canal Trust's Water Festival (1st July) and many, many more Droitwich Spa will be buzzing with sights and sounds for the fortnight. The rest of the fun packed programme is currently being finalised and the free programme listings will be available from the beginning of June.

Buying tickets for the pre-paid events will be easier this year as we will have access to online booking in conjunction with our partners at the Norbury Theatre.
