PUPILS at a Worcester school have excelled at two new sports.
Youngsters from Perry Wood Primary and Nursery School took part in the Droitwich and Worcester School games at Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College.
The event included New Age Kurling (NAK) and Boccia, a version of French boules played while sat in a chair.
The team was made up of pupils from years 4, 5 and 6 including Tayyeb Hussain, Zeesham Hussain, Arsalan Rangzerb, Ryan Thomasson, Melita Morris, Sophie Merry, Jake Wright, Jess Collins, Thomas Taylor and Grant Bradley.
The pupils from Perry Wood worked as a team and came out top in both sports, although they shared the trophy for Boccia with St George's.
Perry Wood will now represent Droitwich and Worcester city at the Winter School Games in March 2016 and the Summer Games in July 2016.
The Droitwich and Worcester School games took place on Thursday, October 15.
