PUPILS from Perry Wood Primary and Nursery School enjoyed telling the Education Secretary about their School Parliament.
Members of the school's parliament meet Nicky Morgan at the Hive and asked her questions about her childhood ambitions and which aspects of her job she found enjoyable.
Headteacher Tracy Kelly-Freer attended the meeting together with Worcester MP Robin Walker and University of Worcester Vice-Chancellor Professor David Green.
She said: "We set up the Perry Wood School Parliament earlier this year as part of our work on British values and democracy.
"In every class - from Year 1 through to Year 6 - pupils vote to elect a member of parliament and a minister, who represent their classmates within the school and wider community.
"The children have found it really empowering and it has energised our work on pupil voice.”
The meeting took place during Mrs Morgan's visit to Worcester on Friday, November 6.
