BROMYARD'S Christmas lights switch-on will take place on Saturday (November 21).
Roger Wilkins, the longest serving member of the town's 'light brigade' - who is now in his 48th year of involvement - will have the honour of flicking the switch.
He will be joined by Toni McDonald of BBC Hereford and Worcester, who will present prizes to the winners of the Bromyard Chamber of Commerce's annual shop window competition.
This year's switch-on is the "very special" 50th anniversary year.
