PUPILS from Stanley Road Primary School were thrilled to find they had won the Summer Reading Challenge.
The competition, run by the Reading Agency in conjunction with The Hive in Worcester, challenges children to read six books during the summer holidays.
Stanley Road Primary School had the highest percentage of its pupils completing the reading challenge.
The school won a bundle of books for the library.
Each child was awarded a medal and certificate at an awards ceremony at The Hive last month.
The children were also awarded a certificate in an assembly in school that was attended by Jane Stephens and Ceri Parker from The Hive.
