PEOPLE are used to seeing Sir Edward Elgar's statue in Worcester High Street sporting a cone on his head.
But reader Jenny Edwins managed to spot him wearing a pair of goggles.
Perhaps he is worried about the floods?
Jenny assured us that she was not responsible for the goggles, she just took the photograph while passing.
This week Land of Hope and Glory, for which Sir Edward wrote the music, was suggested as a new anthem for England's sports teams.
