STAFF at Dines Green Primary School want to hear from people who remember a longstanding teacher who is retiring this year.

Teacher Rose Johnson will be retiring at the end of the spring term and the school want to hear from people who have special memories of her or wish to attend a tea party.

Sheila Webb, learning mentor and attendance officer at the school, said they were planning the tea party on Tuesday, March 22.

She has asked for people to keep it a secret from Mrs Johnson. This article will only be appearing online as Mrs Johnson does not read the website but has the paper delivered.

"We'd like to hear from any old colleagues or pupils who have any memories they would like to tell us and we are doing something between 1.30pm and 3.30pm on March 22 which people can attend."

Anyone who would like to share a memory or attend the tea party can call 01905 423228 or email stw8@dinesgreen.worcs.sch.uk. Alternatively, messages can be left at facebook.com/retirementrj/.
