A POWER cut in Worcester has affected more than 2,000 homes this morning.
The power cut affected homes between Claines and Warndon.
Western Power Distribution said 2,300 homes and businesses with the postcode WR3 7 were without power from just before 9am.
By 9.45am, all but ten homes had their power restored as engineers had managed to re-route supplies.
The ten homes without power should have their power returned by 1pm.
A spokesman for Western Distribution Power said: "There is a fault on our overhead network in the area.
"We are just trying to find the fault and carry out the necessary repair work and we hope to go that as quickly as we can."
