A MAN has been charged following an allegation of a racist slur being shouted at a man in Tallow Hill.
Richard Ian Cook, aged 28, of Dingle Road, Leigh, Worcester has been charged with racially or religiously aggravated fear or provocation of violence and using threatening words, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.
He will appear at Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday, August 11.
It relates to an incident in which racially motivated language was used towards a 57-year-old man at about 11.30am yesterday (Wednesday) on a car park in Shrub Hill Retail Park, in Tallow Hill.
