A COMMUNITY grants scheme has enabled a school to install a mirrored wall for their children.
Friends of Fort Royal School received the grant from the Lions club community grants scheme.
The school in Wylds lane, Worcester, caters for children with special needs and has pupils who are in wheelchairs and cannot stand independently.
The school said research showed children with additional needs were drawn to mirrors to see themselves and objects around them.
They hope the new mirror will help with interaction, communication and self awareness and allow the children to see themselves in upright position.
Michelle Lee who teaches Tafseer Hussain, pictured, said: "We are very grateful for the donation from the Lions.
"Tafseer and the other children will benefit enormously as the mirror helps them become more aware and interested in their surroundings.
"As you can see, Tafseer really likes what he sees."
