AN arts group has organised a workshop at a Pershore school.
Pershore Arts funded the workshop for 25 pupils led by artist Stephen Belinfante at Pershore High School after group members decided they wanted to support young people in the arts.
Frans Swarte, chair of Pershore Arts, said: "Pershore Arts is a social group dedicated to encouraging and supporting artistic activities in the local area.
"Though the group’s membership is mature, we wished to express our support for young people in the arts by offering financial assistance through a local school.
"We approached Pershore High School's art department to ask how this might be achieved.
"After due consideration, head of art David Reed decided that the best option was funding for a one day workshop, led by local artist and educationalist Stephen Belinfante.
"It was a busy and productive day, enjoyed by all."
