A MAN in his 40s was taken to hospital after falling during a walk on the Malvern Hills.
The incident happened at around 4.30pm on Saturday evening.
The 47-year-old injured his ankle in the incident which happened on the Three Choirs Way footpath.
West Midlands Ambulance Service were sent to the scene, and paramedics splinted his leg.
Firefighters used an all off-road vehicle to transport him to a waiting ambulance, so he could be taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
