A MAN was taken to hospital with burns to his hands after a kitchen fire in Stourport-on-Severn.
Firefighters received a call to say there was a house fire and a person was unaccounted for at just before 8pm on Wednesday.
Fire crews from Stourport, Kidderminster and Bewdley were sent to the fire on a cooker at a home in Stagborough Way.
The man had managed to get himself out of the house and the fire was extinguished prior to their arrival.
Firefighters called for an ambulance to treat the man for burns to his hands.
He was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for treatment.
