PEOPLE living in Warndon, Worcester, suffered a series of power cuts as they were cooking romantic meals for their Valentines earlier this evening.
Those living in the WR3 and WR4 postcodes reported that the power was going on and off around 6.30pm this evening.
Some complained that the problem was affecting their chances of enjoying a romantic meal.
Emma Purnell contacted Western Power Distribution and tweeted: "One lovely Valentines meal ruined in the oven then.."
While Mandie Burford responded to a message from Western Power saying the power would be back on by 8.30pm, with: "HALF 8? I'm starving...been waiting for this lovely meal all day."
Western Power Distribution said the issue was caused by a problem on their high voltage network.
The power was restored at around 8pm.
