THE mystery of the eerie farmyard left next to a family's car in a supermarket car park has been solved.

Many speculated that the scene left beside Liam Andrews' family car in Morrisons car park was an elaborate joke or an initiation into an agriculture-based cult.

Mr Andrews discovered the miniscule farmyard with animals glued onto sandpaper to form a perfect circle left near the driver's side door of his car in Morrisons car park on Monday night.

But the truth has now been uncovered - and it is still slightly bonkers.

The farmyard belongs to Claire Russell, from St John's, Worcester, who didn't realise she lost it until colleagues at Worcester Bosch, in Blackpole, read the Worcester News article.

The 35-year-old's father Brian Willis made the farm scene after Miss Russell was handed Matilda the Pig as a joke 'prize' in a weight loss group made up of a group of colleagues.

It has given Mrs Russell and her friends at work a good giggle and she now hopes to be reunited with the farmyard.

She said: "This has caused quite a stir at my work Worcester Bosch, they think it's brilliant!

"On a Friday my manager Sharon runs a 'fat club' and whoever puts on the most weight gets a toy pig.

"We keep the pig for a week and have to 'pimp' it up.

"I had won Matilda the Pig three weeks ago and instead of pimping her up I made her a farmyard with my dad Brian Willis. The one in the picture.

"I managed to loose weight the following week so I gave her to a fellow colleague.

"Anyway, I put the farmyard in my boot and left it there.

"On Monday, I went to Morrisons shopping, went to put my shopping in the boot and moved the farmyard.

"I placed it next to my car so I didn't squash it and obviously left it there. It was a mistake.

"My nan passed away on Sunday so I was somewhere totally different that night, I was in a daze.

"I left it there by mistake and would like to get the farmyard back so Matilda still has a home if I put the most weight on again - hopefully not though.

"I apologise for any inconvenience this has caused, however my whole department at work find it hilarious.

"I hope I didn't cause any stress."
