TEN year 4 pupils from Nunnery Wood Primary school were invited to Worcester Sixth Form College's state of the art science laboratories.
The pupils and their Science co-ordinator Tom Harris were at the College for National Science week.
They worked with the College's three specialist physicists to build an integrated circuit based electronics music box.
Edd Franklin, teacher of Physics at Worcester Sixth Form College, said: “This is a challenging project and all of the children were successful. They are a credit to their school."
Mr Harris, teacher and science co-ordinator at Nunnery Wood Primary School, said: “This was an amazing opportunity, which motivated and excited our pupils.
"The staff at Worcester Sixth Form College were fantastic at creating a 'buzz' around science and provided the children with an experience they will remember.”
The visit was one of a number of outreach activities run by Worcester Sixth Form College to promote science across the city.
