SHOPPERS can get a head start in fashion and style stakes with shops showcasing their outfit tips.

Crowngate Shopping Centre's Fashion Social sees shops showing their collections to help fashionistas find their outfits for Ladies Day at Worcester Racecourse as well as for the summer weather.

Style and beauty experts will offer tips and advice in addition to free demonstrations and workshops.

Erica Burlace, centre manager at CrownGate said: "We want to provide an interactive and informative event that will help stores engage with their customers.

"Retailers will be able to demonstrate their expertise and deliver a first class customer experience which will encourage shoppers to return to our centre."

The event takes place between 11am and 4pm on Saturday (May 6).

Sara Matthews, marketing manager at CrownGate added: "We want to give ladies (and gents) the opportunity to choose their race attire or indeed any other special occasion outfit, while receiving expert help and advice to put the finishing touches to their look.

"Retailers have already done a lot of the leg work by selecting and highlighting some fantastic on-trend pieces."

There is no need to book, just turn up at the event area outside House of Fraser, Boots and Debenhams.

‘Hetty’ a vintage champagne and prosecco van will be serving drinks and cocktails throughout the event, for those who fancy a lunchtime tipple.
