MORE than £1,000 has been raised for two charities after a string of fundraising events.
Black Pear Joggers who are based at Perdiswell Leisure Centre, have raised £1,174.97 each for Maggs Day Centre and YSS Worcestershire Young Carers.
Paul Evans, club chairman, handed over a cheque to both charities.
One of the biggest fundraisers for the group was The Wild One in 2016, a multi-lap marathon which raised £1,256.
The group also raised £500 as a rebate from the Birmingham half-marathon and £100 from the Worcester City 10K.
£377.59 was also raised at the Christmas party raffle.
Representatives from both organisations ran with the joggers at their training night on Monday.
