EXCITEMENT is growing for superstar singer Olly Murs to arrive in Worcester.
The popular Dance with Me Tonight singer will play a huge open air concert at Worcestershire County Club's New Road ground tomorrow (Sunday).
Whether you're heading along to enjoy the gig or just want to brush up your knowledge on the star everybody's talking about in Worcester this weekend, here are seven things you need to know about Olly Murs and his concert in Worcester.
1. HE'S HAD SOME BIG, BIG HITS
Olly's biggest hit is Dance with Me Tonight which sold just under 797,000 copies, followed closely by Number 1 hit Troublemaker, which sold 768,000 copies.
2. HIS BIG BREAK
Although Olly is one of the best-known and most-successful ever X Factor contestants, he didn't actually win his series. He appeared on the TV talent show in 2009, making it all the way to the final but eventually finishing runner-up to Joe McElderry.

The X Factor wasn't the first time Olly appeared on our TV screens. He also appeared on the game show Deal or No Deal in 2007 – winning the princely sum of £10! He returned for a celebrity version of the show in 2012, which made him the only person to appear on the show twice.
4. A SPORTS STAR IN WAITING?
Soccer Aid is here!!!!! Pre-match nerves kicking in already!! 😬

He's performing at the cricket club in Worcester, but Olly is a big football fan. Before finding fame he turned out for his local team, Witham Town and as a celebrity he has showcased his skills in front of millions in the annual Soccer Aid fundraising match. His team? Manchester United.
5. DRIVING TO THE GIG?
Temporary road closures will be in place on New Road and Hylton Road at the end of Olly's concert. Worcestershire County Council says concert access will be maintained for drop off and pick up from Homebase car park – but there will be no drop off or pick up on New Road.
6.HE'S SMALLER THAN YOU MIGHT THINK
Olly stands at around 5’9 – the same height as Rihanna and Justin Bieber.
7: OLLY IS A TWIN, BUT THE PAIR AREN'T EXACTLY TWO PEAS IN A POD
Olly and his brother Ben fell out big time when the singer was forced to miss his wedding to perform on the X Factor. The pair are still on difficult terms almost a decade on.
